As the name suggests, this Saumur is presented in a light, delicate and very precise way. In an aromatic style, it offers aromas of cooked apples, honey and acacia flowers while keeping its freshness.
Pale yellow in color with green hues, the wine has a light nose with aromas of white fruits such as apple and peach, followed by pretty floral notes and a tangy hint of fresh lemon. The palate is more powerful with a note of sugar, brought by aromas of cooked apples and candied pears, followed by hints of honey, orange blossom and a touch of fresh vanilla. A very nice alternative to a Champagne Semi-dry.
A perfect match to start a meal on a terrine of foie gras, a rich starter or even a light fruit dessert.
70% Chenin, 20% Cabernet franc and 10% Grolleau gris
